Welcome To Isacar, where the only place more dangerous than the dungeon is the surface. One minute, Kik is making the game winning play for his Texas high school football team. The next he's being dragged through a rift into the nightmarish 53rd floor of the dungeon.  Branded with the Ghost Progenitor Mark, Kik must use all his Earth knowledge to survive, while learning to walk on air and phase through walls.  Upon escaping the dungeon, Kik is thrust into the capital of Rionne, to take his seat among the Cognoscenti, a council of elemental masters who have ruled for centuries.  As the "Ghost's Heir," He's a house hold name in a world where life is cheap and death comes quick, our hero must navigate the political intrigue of thousand year old Progenitors and ancient houses, deadly proving matches, and a dimension actively eating away at his memories.  What to expect: Original Cast with Agency: Everyone in Isacar has their own agenda and is capable of moving the needle absent the MC. Balanced High Toll Magic System: The Eight Arts (Life, Gravity, Decay, Ghost, Rock, Sea, Flame, and Storm) serve as the foundation of society, governed by the Law of Counters where each art is countered by a different art. Urban / High Fantasy Hybrid: Grand palaces meet neon lit nightclubs, as the culture of the empire undergoes a shift from the traditional medieval aesthetic to the Atlanta street style ushered in by the Lightning Kings, JKB and Viktor Brown over the past 30 years.
