Every empire falls. The pressing question that echoes across history is never whether the collapse will come, but who will gather the fortunes that turn to ash when it does. Today, the greatest empire the world has ever known stands at the edge of the abyss. But its weakness springs not from feeble armies, nor from the rising strength of old enemies; its coming ruin lies instead in a single fact — that someone, hidden in the shadows, has finally understood that kingdoms can be dismantled entirely without a single sword being drawn. The weapons of this new age are quiet, but catastrophic: a shipment gone missing in a vital port, a market skillfully manipulated, a decree issued in the dead of night, a mountain of national debt no crown could ever hope to repay. While arrogant princes squabble over the throne, and short-sighted generals draw up plans for grand battles, a hidden war devours the empire from within. Gold has become deadlier than cold steel; merchants now wield an influence more terrifying than blood-soaked nobles. In this new world order, faith is bought, loyalty is sold to the highest bidder, and every political maneuver is paid for in blood. Among the desperate heirs to this crumbling throne stands Louai. He is a prince who carries no legendary sword, no formidable magic, no great army capable of striking terror into his rivals' hearts. Instead, his most powerful weapon is the very thing his enemies foolishly dismiss as useless in a real war: his mind. In a merciless game where entire kingdoms are traded like currency, where the law cuts deeper than any blade, and where every apparent victory only drives the state further toward total ruin, Louai faces an impossible question: can one man save an empire whose greatest enemy has always been its own reflection? History, in the end, remembers only conquerors. But the world has always belonged to whoever holds the keys to its vaults.
