Taxonomy of the Tower

The Tower is not a place where one walks through the door. The Tower is a place that finds you. Worth is everything within its walls. It's the person you were. It's the person you are. It's the person you will be tomorrow. You can buy power, or time, or happiness inside. All you have to do is let the System in. Grant came to atone. Elena came to free her mother. Ewan came to be seen. Silas came to burn it all down, and Nia came for revenge. I came to ensure they live long enough to all fit in. The Tower has three factions, a hundred ways to die, and an absent god who left the lights on. It has Rifts that turn memories into merchandise, trees that charge interest on your mistakes, and drones that process failure into fertilizer. It also has me. And I have a question for you: What are you prepared to lose in order to belong somewhere else? Taxonomy of the Tower is a LitRPG that deals with coercive systems in a world where everything can be priced. It follows Elena Pyre, a diplomat in her early 20's who is on a quest to free her mother. To do so, Elena arranges a bargain with the very empire that is responsible for her suffering. She will travel to the Tower and establish negotiations with its ruler. The Tower, the world's biggest mystery. The Tower, a place that nobody has ever returned from. Little does she know that inside awaits a world governed by an impartial system that wants to claim everything she holds dear. What to expect: • Fast-paced psychological Tower-Climber LitRPG with a female MC. • No filler content. This is a story that respects the reader. • Characters with motivations, feelings, and depth.
