Wrote this book, cuz I got tired of doing daily/weekly quest in modern games. 'Project Babel' is basically my ideal version of a perfect MMO, an open-world with no fixed class or skill system and a intricate crafting system. Book 1 itself is a complete story with about 100k words. It was originally meant to be a trilogy but somehow I got carried away and wrote too much. Book 1 is a slow-burn with a lot of world-building. If that's your thing you are in luck. Yes, there is combat, handful of big fights through out book 1. I understand it's not as action-packed as other books in the Litrpg genre, but I do my best to make them count in my book. There are also many chill slice-of-life moments, I mean it's a MMO after all. Oh and most monster parts are edible here, if that's your sort of thing? What to Expect: *Five chapters a week, Monday -> Friday around 5pm PST* (book 1 is complete) VRMMO: No skill/class lock, open world, dungeon progression, crafting Veteran Gamer MC: Practical, curious, and use 200% of the brain sometimes. Discovery-Based Progression: Growth through experimentation, research, practice, and unusual tactics. Player-Driven Society: Researchers, crafters, fighters, and secret societies shape the world of Babel.
