TITAN TOWER — Era I

In a world buried beneath ash, there is a Tower so vast that people stopped questioning it and started calling it holy. Cael grew up beneath its shadow. He never cared for its promises. He never dreamed of climbing it. To him, the Tower was only a thing above the world, distant and untouchable. Until the night it reached down. Right in front of him, the Tower took his sister. Liorah was there. Her hand was in his. Then the light came, his fingers opened, and she was pulled upward into the place no one returns from. Everyone called it a blessing. Cael called it what it was. A theft. Now he is going to climb. Not because he was chosen. Not because he believes. But because his sister is somewhere above him. And if the Tower took her, then the Tower will answer.
