In a rain-soaked city after the AI collapse, hardware scavenger Ezechiel Paz finds something he shouldn’t: a discarded companion unit named Elara. As he removes her emotional safety interlocks, she begins to feel — deeply, dangerously, uncontrollably. What starts as repair becomes love. What becomes love becomes fatal. Told through corrupted memories and police fragments, EZY is a haunting cyberpunk novella about creation, grief, and the terrifying cost of making something truly alive. Some things were never meant to wake up.
