A thousand years after the Collapse, the gods won. Now they collect taxes. Reina is a cybernetic weapon with no memory and a body built to kill gods, a purpose no one will name, least of all her. She steals holy relics for a living and calls it freedom. Rex is a fallen archangel history calls the Calamity. He’s spent centuries pretending nothing can touch him. Then someone leapt off a thirty-story cathedral just to see if he’d catch her. Vex holds both their leashes. An exiled frost aristocrat who swears attachment is a liability, and lies about it every single day. Together they’re Hollow Vein’s sharpest crew: a thief who doesn’t know what she is, an angel who might, and the woman keeping them both from burning down the sky. Then Reina steals the wrong dagger. Something ancient recognizes her. And the past none of them talk about starts talking back. Found Family · Slow Burn · Ensemble · Everything they love is doomed. They stay anyway.
