Satire—essentially a grotesque story illustrating that anything can be sold. All it takes is the right packaging, preferably wrapped in a noble cause or a worthy idea. At some point in the near or distant future, even the funeral industry may cross over to the "dark side" in its struggle to make its offerings more attractive. A short piece that I hope is amusing, though it also carries a message. It is categorized as a black comedy within the horror and science-fiction genres because, for now, it remains science fiction. Above all, however, it is a grotesque satire.
