The Cultivator of Living Ghosts

The Way of the Living Ghost is a technique that allows Soga to create spirit servants from his blood and the souls of other cultivators. They can live and breathe like any other cultivator, growing in power alongside their creator. Soga's first spirit servant, Canna, is created from the soul of the person who taught him the technique: his father.  Driven out of his home by his father's death and the treacherous cultivators of the Heretical Lands, Soga must find purpose in a journey to the Sacred Lands, where he hopes to carve out a part of the world for himself.  Follow Soga and Canna on their ascension through the cultivation world, forming alliances, making enemies, and creating spirits that blur the line between living and dead.
