Holly Murphy is a powerless girl in a capepunk reality, and to make it worse she is in a family where everybody is a meta. So, she grew up always in danger and feeling like she should be better. However, she soon discovers she has powers, but her personality is already ingrained in the fact she should better for people to see her as useful, and she becomes a superhero. But the superhero business is much less saturated than it looks, and she finds out the hard way. To add onto this, there's a major secret her parents are hiding, and is determined to uncover it.
