Why Can't I Love You, Naoya?

During the Grand Prix Finals, Kiyoshi Hoshino–one of the greatest young MMA fighters–despite winning has ended up sustaining an injury on his shoulders that made him pause his career. Despite winning a huge amount of money and the Tournament Championship Belt, not being able to do what he likes the most made him fall into a depressive episode. Tamao–his mother–was quite worried for her son, so she decided to send him back from the USA to Japan without caring what he thinks. She didn't even tell him where or with whom he'll be living. Everything was sudden and annoyed Kiyoshi a lot. After arriving in Japan, he was greeted by his middle school classmate–Naoya Ichibangase. But this wasn't the Naoya he knew before, everything was different–from appearance, to even the way he spoke. Despite all of their differences and struggles, Kiyoshi ends up with mixed feelings, and Naoya's secrecy and rejections only make it worse for him. In the end, will Naoya let Kiyoshi love him, or will Naoya end up dismissing him completely?
