The first time Sylas died, it was because he touched something he shouldn't have. In his defense, it was interesting. Now trapped in a world where power is earned through cards, strategy, and the System's endless trials, Sylas finds himself chasing answers that nobody wants him to have. Thrown into a world ruled by a mysterious System, Sylas quickly discovers that survival isn't enough. Every answer leads to another question. Every mystery hides a secret. And every secret seems connected to an ancient conspiricy. The problem is that Sylas has terrible self-preservation instincts. If there's a mystery, he's going to investigate it. Even if it kills him. Again.
