Lokka Tattur is an obscure Faroese ballad performed in their famous chain dance. The story preserves a pre-Christian tale of a trio of Gods frequently found in Norse legend (Odin, Loki, and Hoenir) saving a boy from an evil giant. Here, I present a poetic adaptation of the story that's about as long. I tried to stick to the text as much as possible.
