Sin & Grace [Space Opera Mystery]

Sinope Ananke should be dead. Sin just escaped a nightmare posting aboard the massive Leviathan-class transport ship Mimir with nothing but the clothes on her back and a desperate plan. She made it offship and to the nearest orbital station with no one the wiser—except for the orbital station officials who just threw her into their brig, having found her passed out by an unsecured airlock, apparently about to jump into the void without a suit. Now she’s been rescued by Captain Jack Grace of the independent courier ship Cassanda, a fast-packet hauler trying to break into the lucrative cryogenic cargo business. Grace needs someone with a rare skillset: a Bot Driver capable of running a swarm of specialized robots that maintain fragile cargo in transit. Sin needs to get out of the sector before the people she ran from realize she’s still alive. Two problems. One convenient solution. Right? There’s just one complication. Sin carries the Black Spot, a mark spacers swear draws the attention of something hungry in the dark between stars—something that eats ships. Grace thinks that’s just superstition. Sin isn’t so sure. After all, she's already experienced the impossible once. She hadn’t been trying to get out of that airlock. She had just gotten in. What to Expect: - Mystery!
