Edward Kellogg has killed a lot of people. Now he's dead too. After taking his own life, Edward awakens in a sprawling city—a place where the streets seem endless, the sky watches, and every step forward drags another memory into the light. A voice follows him through the city, dissecting every excuse he's ever made and every sin he's tried to bury. The murders. The violence. The people he failed. The woman who loved him anyway. To escape, Edward must confront the life he lived and the man he became. The city already knows what he is. The question is whether Edward does.
