The world of Aethoria is a high fantasy empire powered by a hybrid of arcane magic and mechanical engineering — mana-lamps light the cities, enchanted data-slates store knowledge, and Swordmasters channel combat spells through the kinetic energy of moving blades. Beneath it all, buried under eight centuries of institutional forgetting, a Grand Seal holds a demon lord in a sealed dimension adjacent to reality. The Seal is cracking. Nobody in power wants to say so. And the person most likely to fix it is a seventeen-year-old from the wrong side of the city who accidentally resonated with a pre-Imperial ley-line while trying to fix his Wi-Fi router.
