The Painting

Martin and Emily fall in love almost immediately after meeting and quickly begin building a life together. One day, Emily receives a phone call from an old friend from Vilnius whom she has not seen in years. Wanting to help her reconnect, Martin finds an opportunity to attend a conference in Vilnius, giving them the perfect reason to travel there together. During their visit, Victoria welcomes them into her home and shows them a mysterious painting hanging in her bedroom. After an evening of conversation, Emily and Martin stay the night.
