"Love by Chance: The Yellow Umbrella" follows Siya, a mature and emotionally guarded twenty-four-year-old English teacher living in Mussoorie. Overlooked and taken for granted by her demanding family, Siya harbors a deep-seated trauma from a terrifying childhood incident that has left her with an intense phobia of men. She isolates herself, finding safety only within her classroom at St. Jude Primary School. Her predictable world shifts on a rainy day when she encounters Shiyaan, a young delivery courier struggling in the downpour. Shiyaan is carrying his own heavy emotional scars, having suffered from severe PTSD since surviving a tragic childhood accident that claimed his parents. When they meet, Shiyaan instinctively senses her panic and respectfully steps back, offering her immediate comfort and a rare sense of safety. Their paths cross again a week later when Shiyaan is hired as the school's new sports instructor. Despite an accidental, panic-inducing collision in the hallway, Shiyaan's gentle, protective nature and deep respect for her boundaries begin to soothe Siya's fears. Over the following weeks, an unspoken bond and a silent rhythm grow between them, with Shiyaan becoming a grounding presence for Siya, and Siya serving as an emotional anchor for him. However, just as they find solace in each other's presence, dark challenges begin to loom over their sanctuary.
