The Earth Operation

Zane Alftor’s life is a repetitive cycle of driving a beat-up truck to a local landfill—unglamorous work, but it pays the bills. That is, until the worst day of his life hits. Fired, robbed, and staring down the barrel of a life-ending moment, he is suddenly yanked from Earth by a desperate magical summoning. He opens his eyes to a breathtaking new world caught in a brutal war. On one side are forces wielding advanced, planet-killing technology, and on the other are those who use magic to protect the earth. At first, Zane looks like the prophesied savior. He is showered with wealth, fame, and respect. That’s until the kingdom realizes his specific magical affinity is deemed completely worthless. Stripped of his titles, disgraced, and cast out of the castle, Zane is left with nothing but a burning desire for revenge. To prove his betrayers wrong, he sets out on his own mission, to master his "useless" power, rise to the top, and save the planet from the technological forces threatening to destroy it.
