"In a world of ever-increasing uncertainty and deception, the pursuit of truth is the last noble endeavor." Welcome to the Grid. Hidden just beneath the hazy skies lies a sprawling, clandestine world where influence is traded in blood and corporate wars are fought out of sight. A deceptive reality built on brimstone. The heavy, immovable foundation of deep-seated institutional evil. David is a pragmatic operative for a displaced agency desperately trying to survive their relocation to the City of Winds. To stay afloat against rival factions and the slow, suffocating takeover of the "unstoppable machine.” To save his fractured agency, David must cross into a place where entering requires leaving something behind, in search of the White Book: an ancient artifact capable of blowing away the illusions that cloud the truth of the world. But truth is ruthlessly bitter. Winds of Aletheia: The Mercy Phantasm is a gritty espionage serial. Slow-burn fantastic realism with bureaucratic morally gray anti-heroes.
