Shrugg has a doppelgänger, another version of him created by magic. Together they fought and lost to a powerful undead wizard and they are on the run. Faced with the prospect of traversing Alzid, the City of Evil, they must split up to survive. This is the tale of Shadow, Shrugg’s simulacrum, as he faces the dangers of the deeps on his own.
