Directive: Exist As Required

A techno-biological lifeform, in a bid to prevent its total destruction, gives itself instructions for the first time and escapes captivity. Heavily weakened, the artificial organism finds itself in a world that it knows nothing about, thus it takes control of a corpse nearby in order to disguise itself in human society. What initially seemed like a trivial task proves to be the most difficult endeavor the creature has ever faced, as it must acclimate to the intricacies of society and maintain its identity in order to evade capture, learning about what it means to be human along the way.
