Rosalind Belacqua was a warmage. Rosalind Belacqua was a fighter pilot. Rosalind Belacqua led an army that spanned a galaxy, and with that army’s help she beat back an existential threat and won the day. And then, without so much as a by-your-leave, she’s sent back home. Sent back to her original reality, to a planet that has yet to discover space travel, to a body that has yet to learn any serious magic. It’s almost a gift, or at least it feels like it ought to be one, but to Rosalind—a woman grown a dozen times over—it’s just as fraught a circumstance as the war she left behind, if a much less deadly one. Still, she’s gone unflinchingly up against existential threats time and time again. Pretending that she’s an ordinary fifteen-year-old girl again can’t be all that bad… right? (If this were a light novel, I'd probably call it Aftermath of a Time Loop in Another World.)
