Kai Takeshi was walking home when the accident happened. He ran toward it — because that is what he does. He pulled someone out. He tried to save the child in the back seat. The child had no face. Then he was in a field of grass. Two moons. A sky the wrong colour. And no way back. Aethon is not a kind world. It has no interest in chosen ones, no patience for heroes, and no shortage of things that want him dead. Kai has no magic. No knowledge of the language. No understanding of why he was brought here — or what the faceless child wanted from him. What he has is less than he needs. And more than anyone suspects. This is not a story about becoming powerful. It is a story about what it costs to keep going when the world gives you no good reasons to. ─── Dark fantasy isekai. Psychological. No wish fulfilment.Influenced by Re:Zero, HxH, Monster and some others.Hope you like it :)
