To the world, Aya is a perfect pop idol. To Aya, the world is a poorly staged production where tragic extras follow pointless scripts. Who else is going to step up and save them from themselves? Her alienation and lack of a coherent plan probably make her the worst person for the job – but Aya barely remembers what a job is anyway and has never let reality get in the way of her ambition. An absurdist slice-of-life about a teenage prodigy who finds the breakdown of society less distressing than an unoptimized schedule. What NOT to expect: -romance -relatable protagonist -rationality
