In the humble barangay of Taban, somewhere in Bulacan, the god of seasons and health, Mapulon, pretends to be an unlicensed healer and a traditional therapist. Pulo, as he goes by, lives by selling healing potions he himself concocted and by massaging the aching bodies of the town's remaining elder folks. The trouble? His divine weather control has suffered a catastrophic glitch he never foresaw. A pepper-induced sneeze can summon tornadoes capable of leveling crops. A nightmare can cast frost and snow in the town's tropical climate. A moment of anger can split a tree with lightning. Meanwhile, Anitun Tabu, the ancient goddess of wind and rain, has fully embraced the twenty-first century as a glamorous weather reporter, tech entrepreneur, and social media influencer dominating the market with the most downloaded weather app in Southeast Asia. She has never been more powerful. She has never been more dangerous. Then Lakapati, the goddess who tends the earth, descends from the heavens convinced she could help Pulo. Operating under the human guise of "Pat," she quickly finds out she can't. Not yet. Instead, her well-meaning presence only invites further unpredictable trouble and chaos for them both. Caught between corporate deities, climate anomalies, and celestial tension, Pulo and Pat must brave a changing world to protect the community, and ultimately find the right reasons for the wrong seasons.
