Core Hunters

Core Spirits feed on human pain. Core Hunters destroy them. Aoi, a new student with electric blue eyes and a secret power called Linework, joins Obsidian Gate Academy — a school locked in a cold war with rival Mooncrest Institute. She aims to become the strongest hunter and lead her team — Iori, Jiro, Renjiro, Kazuki, and Eita — as the elite group Core Hunters. To kill a spirit, a hunter must destroy its Anchor. Higher spirits have multiple Anchors hidden in humans or objects. The strongest spirit, Somanan Kumizan, waits in the shadows. Aoi's secret power could save everyone — or destroy her team's trust.
