by the dumb one
Many years ago, a passenger train emerged from an abandoned forest carrying nothing but the dead. Every passenger aboard had been killed during the thirty-three minutes the train spent crossing a remote stretch of wilderness. No weapon was found. No suspect was identified. No explanation could be proven. The only survivor was the train's driver, whose life was ruined by suspicion before the case was eventually buried. Years later, the former driver is found dead under mysterious circumstances. Beside his body lies a photograph depicting a place that should not exist. Assigned to the reopened investigation, a detective follows the trail into the same forest where the original tragedy began. As he uncovers forgotten records, contradictions, and traces of a truth that refuses to stay visible, he finds himself drawn deeper into a mystery that has survived for decades. Some cases remain unsolved. Others leave behind no evidence that they ever happened at all.
