The vast majority of the modern population is starblind, unable to perceive the mystic world around them. Celeste has always had the sight while growing up in the small town of Fernglen, feeling lonely and isolated even within her loving family. This changes when she is invited to move to the City, and join Preservation, an organization dedicated to maintaining order for the starblind. After a short bout of training, she is given her mask, and thrust into the role of Agent. Meagan is a middle aged homicide detective, dealing with voices in her head. A strange series of cases forces her to realize that the ordinary world is only a fraction of reality. Two women, two perspectives, destined to converge as chaos rises in the City.
