Dr. Aaron Fischer is a physics professor with a secret: he's built a machine that can temporarily merge parallel universes. His goal? Catch the anomalies, supernatural creatures that slip through cracks between worlds, before they cause irreparable damage to our own. But when two of his students, Jax and Sarah, accidentally get dragged into a merge during a poorly-timed prank, Aaron finds himself stuck with unwilling partners. Jax is a loudmouth basketball player who acts first and thinks never. Sarah is sharp, cautious, and the only one who asks the right questions. Together, the trio begins hunting ghosts, vampires, witches... They contain them in unbreakable capsules before the five-hour window closes and they're trapped forever.
