by Eric Michael Collins
While on a peaceful solo motorcycle ride through the Blue Ridge Mountains, Michael Collins — a regular working man and aspiring writer — stops to explore an unassuming cave. What he finds inside will shatter everything he thought he knew about his family. Deep in the darkness waits Vaelin Corvinus: a half-vampire prince over five hundred years old who claims to be Michael’s grandfather. As the truth unravels, Michael is forced to confront a legacy of ancient blood, painful abandonment, and a family fortune so vast it defies comprehension. From a quiet mountain cave to a life-altering meeting with lawyers and a private jet, one chance encounter transforms an ordinary man into something he never asked to be — heir to unimaginable power and a hidden supernatural world. But some gifts come with shadows far darker than gold. The Shadow Realm: Origins — A story of blood, legacy, wealth beyond measure, and the weight of discovering who you truly are.
