Chaos Point

E possesses one of the rarest Gifts in the Stellar Accord. Powerful enough to tear through warships, she should be one of the military’s brightest rising commanders. Instead, she wants something no amount of power can earn. She wants to belong. Drawn to a squad of ordinary Kastorian soldiers, E finally finds the family she’s spent her entire life searching for. But belonging isn’t as simple as choosing the people you love. Haunted by self-doubt and convinced she never quite fits, E becomes the greatest obstacle to the very connections she longs for. And she learns a painful truth: Sometimes the people you love let you down. Sometimes… you let yourself down, too. As war with the Dominion escalates, a brilliant strategist named Alec believes in her potential to alter realities and worlds. While those closest to her struggle to understand who she is, Alec believes she is capable of changing the course of history. Torn between the family she loves and the future only Alec seems able to imagine, E must discover who she is, what she is worth, and where she truly belongs. What to expect: * An overpowered protagonist who doesn’t understand her own value unless someone chooses her. * A well-meaning but flawed found family trying to help their friend—and sometimes getting it terribly wrong. * A powerful villain who believes he understands exactly who she is meant to become—and is willing to wait for everyone else to fail her. * Friendship, romance, military missions, squad chaos, and a journey toward self-worth. * Occassional original art at the end of chapter notes, starting on chapter 6. New chapters Wednesdays.
