The planet of New Dawn was once a tropical paradise owned and terraformed by the Horizon Dawn Corporation, and the lead researchers in many fields related to extraterrestrial travel and colonization. This all changed when they were found researching and creating true AI, the government and other corporations banded together out of fear and greed to wipe them from the board. 20 years later and what remains of New Dawn is a shell of its former self, the planet has become a wastes land ruled by “Criminals” of the corporations. With a blockade stopping anyone from entering or leaving the planet, with the only ones who ever get to leave are the ones who scavenge whatever technology remains in the parts of the world that were not destroyed or in hidden bunkers.
