OPERATIONS: PENUMBRA

War teaches soldiers how to kill. The Lantern Men teach them how to remember. After witnessing a mysterious figure digging graves among the dead, combat medic Perry becomes obsessed with the stories whispered by wounded veterans. Stories of soldiers who abandoned their rifles for shovels. Stories of green lanterns glowing through battlefield smoke. Stories of an invitation. When Perry can no longer save a dying father, he comes face to face with the truth behind the legend. And must decide what kind of soldier he wants to become. A dark military fantasy about war, memory, loss, and the forgotten dead.
