The Year is 1752. The Golden Land is bleeding. Following the collapse of the Second Empire and the sacking of the capital, the southern Hanthawaddy forces have swept across Upper Burma, leaving nothing but ash and subjugation in their wake. For the people of Moksobo, a small hunting village, survival has meant bowing their heads and paying steep tributes. But Aung Zeya, the village headman and a man possessing a deadly, secret lineage of Bando martial arts, has reached his breaking point. When a southern commander pushes his people too far, Aung Zeya draws his blade, sparking a ruthless and bloody rebellion. He is no longer just a village chief; he is the spark that will ignite a continent. From a single fortified village to the throne of a unified nation, witness the brutal, calculated, and legendary rise of the Alaungpaya the future founder of the Third Burmese Empire.
