One day, one hundred humanoid figures—each standing over nine kilometers tall—emerge from the most remote location on the planet: Point Nemo. Their composition defies every element known to science. They make no contact, broadcast no signals, and move in absolute silence, their strides so agonizingly slow it will take them years to reach dry land. Humanity cannot fathom their purpose. There are no protagonists. There are only observers, cults, theories, and dread.
