BEFORE WE MET is a psychological thriller set in contemporary Nairobi, Kenya — a city of six million people, M-Pesa trails, CCTV grids, and a digital intimacy that most of its residents have never stopped to question. It is a novel about surveillance, complicity, and the terrifying realisation that the man you love may have chosen you long before you ever had the chance to choose him.
