Wa. A word that means there is no need to fight, and that opposing views should be respected. —However, such a thing does not exist in this world. It is an age of constant territorial wars, a chaotic era where monsters devour humans. What exists to protect the people are the “Subjugation Corps.” In such an era, there is a man who formed a subjugation corps. Tsukumo Jin. …For now, his only member is zero. His chosen weapon is not a sword, but a “wooden sword.” People around him mock him, saying, “Are you planning to fight with a stick?” and “Do you really think you can defeat monsters with something like that?” This is the story of a man who rises through a chaotic world armed with nothing but a wooden sword, and builds the strongest subjugation corps.
