What happens when the only home you've ever known turns out to be a ghost story? Shaiz thought he was just an ordinary eighteen-year-old boy. But when the magic maintaining his hometown suddenly fails, the illusion crumbles to reveal a dark truth: everyone in Luxaria was massacred fifteen years ago. For over a decade, a powerful, sentient spell has been acting as his parents, his neighbors, and his home. Forced into a massive, mythic world he knows nothing about, Shaiz must learn to survive, master new magic, and uncover the dark secrets of his past. What to expect: A Grand Mystery: Why did the town protect him, and who is the killer? Epic World-Building: A massive world filled with ancient legends, unique magic, and hidden lore. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Watch Shaiz grow from an ordinary town boy into a powerful mage capable of uncovering cosmic truths.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 10–19 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views lifetime.
