Winter Rose

In a frozen, post-apocalyptic wasteland where temperatures drop to -70°C and a perpetual blizzard buries the remains of civilization, a young courier known only as "Empty" (Пустой) scrapes by delivering goods and messages between scattered survivors. One day, he discovers a living rose growing from the permafrost - an impossibility in this dead world. He digs it up and brings it home, a fragile symbol of hope.
