Zack doesn't remember anything before his first day at the orphanage. He's never asked why — until the day he starts noticing things that don't add up. A sky that isn't quite right. A door no one is allowed to open. Answers that come too easily, from people who smile a little too carefully. The deeper Zack looks, the less he recognizes the world he thought he knew — and the less he recognizes himself in it. Some truths can't be unlearned. Some choices can't be undone. And somewhere between what he loses and what he's willing to become, Zack will have to decide what kind of person survives this — if anyone does.
