Life With Purpose

Alexander grew weary of life in the city. The stress of running a smithy whose fortunes change on the whims of the customers, dealing with competitors, and rubbing hands with local officials has worn him down. Losing the repair contract with the city guard has convinced him to pack his bags and head to the Monster Wall, where men go when they find they need to start over. A Runesmith would have no shortage of work, assuming he could survive. The risk was great, but simple. And he needed simple right about now.
