This was my fault. My confidence. My ego. My belief that we could beat the odds.Set in the Dungeon Crawler Carl world, a British Army Platoon enters the Dungeon 30 Men from the British army are plunged deep into the Dungeon Crawler World Dungeon. They are the tip of the spear in their regiment, but soon learn that ain't worth shit down here, when battling monsters, magic, and impossible choices. The AI is slowly deteriorating, and no one has a clue what is going on. The only way forward is to fight and reach the end. What is worse than imposter syndrome? Feeling it while 29 other people rely on your decision-making to make it out alive. Follow from the protagonist's POV as he and his men are thrust onto an alien game show, with his objective being to make it to the 18th level so he can win back Earth. Zero AI is used in the writing and proofreading of this and the following chapters. The only AI used is the book cover, as I am bad at art.
