Daughter of one of Earth’s original Samurai, Envy has always known she would become a Samurai herself. When her mother warns her of the incoming global incursion, Envy sees her chance to finally fulfill her dream.  But the global incursion is still a day away. With nothing better to do, Envy sets up a date to show off her most prized possession - her horse, Ladygirl. The date quickly goes south when an antithesis hive awakes beneath the barn, but that’s only a chance for Envy to realize her dream early. Until Ladygirl cuts her off, kills the antithesis, and is chosen as a Vanguard of Humanity.  Envy may not be a Samurai herself, but that won’t stop her from supporting Ladygirl and fighting against the threat.
