DC: Reborn with the Dread Core

A DC Comics fanfiction. Death should have been the end. Instead, Ezra awoke as an infant in a world that was not his own. Born within a hidden cult and raised as its prophesied heir, he quickly discovers a terrifying truth: his life was never meant to belong to him. Behind every lesson, every act of devotion, and every smiling face lies a purpose far darker than death itself. To survive, Ezra must rely on the only thing he carried from his previous life—an unyielding fear of helplessness. But fear is not merely an emotion. It is power. Bound to a mysterious artifact known as the Dread Core, Ezra learns to turn terror into strength, drawing upon the deepest fears of both himself and others. Yet as his power grows, so do the horrors surrounding him. Ancient forces stir beyond reality. Whispers seep through impossible prisons. And somewhere in the darkness, seven forgotten beings have begun to take notice. In a world of gods, demons, heroes, and monsters, Ezra faces a simple choice: Remain helpless. Or become something far more terrifying.
