Shadow Maiden

Adriette is shadows. She moves in the dark, silently dragging down anyone who gets in her way.  Her mother saved the world. She forestalled the entropy that devours the very life of Solum. She was betrayed, murdered, and torn apart by the greed of mankind. Her father manipulates the world with a web of intrigue and manipulation. As a daughter of the Damascena family, she lives within the underbelly of society. A fitting place for her. Adriette is shadows. And she will have her revenge at any cost.  -Revenge Story! -No Romance (hints of some sadism and masochism amongst the characters, the story title acronym is SM, and I thought it might be funny) -Mafia themes. Not too heavy, but some aspects of the story use concepts from Italian Mafia stories. -F around and find out! Pompous fools beware, because Adriette is liable to react to inconveniences with violence. -Characters may die. One dies pretty early on. Not Game of Thrones style, but this isn't a story where everyone survives and the villains become heroes in the second season. Sorry, not sorry. Updates Every Tuesday!
