1920s colonial Korea. Inside Seodaemun Prison, prisoners begin dying in ways no one can explain. The dead leave their faces behind — but something else wears them. When Japanese folklorist Takahashi Ren is sent to investigate, he uncovers a creature older than the Dangun myth itself, bound beneath Mount Inwang for thousands of years. The seal is breaking. And the thing beneath the mountain does not want flesh. It wants memory. A Korean folk horror about what survives when nations conquer, when the dead are forgotten, and when the gods themselves choose silence.
