When an elite warrior faces a devastating battlefield defeat, he chooses death on his feet over life in shackles. He expects eternal peace, but the arbitrary forces of the Voice of Creation have other plans. Wrapped in otherworldly chains and sent to a dangerous fantasy world, he awakens to a cruel joke of destiny: he has been reincarnated as a piece of armor—a completely sentient, fully conscious helmet. Stranded on a desolate, bone-strewn battlefield, paralyzed and unable to move, his fate shifts when he is picked up by Kenji. Kenji is a quiet, traumatized eighteen-year-old wanderer with a hollow gaze, mute disposition, and a dark past. He is a survivor of the brutal fall of the Kingdom of Cecio, a realm completely obliterated by Abadon, the ruthless 7th Demon King. After watching 80% of his country slaughtered and surviving two hellish years of demonic slavery, Kenji escaped only through the ultimate sacrifice of his adoptive father. When Kenji places the helmet on his head, an anomalous system bond is forged. Refusing the system’s prompt to parasitically body-snatch the vulnerable teenager, the helmet opts to use [Telepathy] to communicate instead. Through a deep soul-sync via [Status Analysis II], the helmet bears witness to the unimaginable trauma and grief driving the boy to the brink of despair. Moved by Kenji’s pain and fueled by the unyielding rage of a past-life soldier, a unique contract of blood and iron is born. The sentient armor makes a solemn vow to the broken boy: I will protect you, and I will help you get your revenge. Can a timid, mute boy with high natural agility and an unbreakable piece of talking headgear overcome the horrors of a demon-infested world? The ultimate dynamic of teamwork begins now—where the helmet does the thinking, and the host does the swinging.
