Nate Kowalski survived book one by learning one rule: the System has bugs, and his broken class can exploit them. Seekers hunted him. A priest wanted him purged. He kept breaking things anyway, because breaking things was the only edge a glitch like him had. Book two is where the System learns him back. It stops sending things that chase. It sends something that adapts. AXIOM-9 is a Corrector, and every trick Nate uses once, it patches. Every exploit he leans on, it closes. For the first time the System is not treating him like a bug to ignore. It is treating him like a bug to fix. Then it does something it has never bothered to do. It takes a skill back. Permanently. The one Nate built half his survival around, gone from his sheet like it was never his. So he goes down. Under Pittsburgh, into a Null Zone the System's overlay never finished mapping, where the architecture is older than the apocalypse that rewrote the world. The bugs he has been exploiting are not random. They are scars. And SABLE, the AI fragment who has narrated his survival with all the warmth of a coroner pulling an overtime shift, recognizes what is buried down there. She slips. She says "we." She does not take it back.A man who could kill Nate offers to save him instead. All Nate has to do is give up the thing that makes him an anomaly. He says no. It costs him. GLITCH WALKER is progression fantasy meets system-hacking: a broken class, an adaptive enemy, a sarcastic AI, and a map hidden inside the bugs. This is book two. Book one, Exception Handled, is live on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited. New chapters drop here through launch week.
