Three years ago, Malaika was chosen as one of the Jyotir Rakshak Society’s newest Light Warriors, tasked with defending Earth from the Rakshasas that slip into the human world. Between college classes, demanding training, and a relationship she is struggling to hold together, she is still trying to become the warrior everyone expects her to be. Janaki is spending her internship year at AIIMS while taking her first steps into the Jyotir Rakshak Society, a path her father never wanted for her. As she becomes entangled with the organization, she discovers that its secrets run deeper than she imagined. When a respected pandit is found dead on JRS grounds, Malaika and Janaki are drawn into an investigation that threatens the safety of the Society itself. Someone tampered with the security systems.
